Description

View AllI'd like to nominate Uncle Andrew for the "most nefarious literary uncles" list. Someone has to keep one of those somewhere, right? This is honestly one of my favorite Narnia books and always has been. The start of things is almost always one of my favorite parts of any series, and this is the beginning of Narnia. (I will also fight to the death about it being the first book in the series and not "The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe" but that's beside the point.) Seeing certain characters for the very first time and the very beginnings of how things were before the Pevensies stumble upon the land is always fun, and the audiobook version of this was a delight from beginning to end. It felt like someone was reading me the story again, and that was a lot of fun.
I first read this book when it was 9. And re-reading it, was a very entertaining read. I think that the way the author portrayed good and evil was very enlightening. I would definantly reccomend this to people.Especially children who may want to try reading fantasy. I think this would be a good start.
B+, loved the fantasy and the plot! A few spelling errors and not a big fan of the older English used
