A really enjoyable read and not at all what I was expecting going into it. Although a decent sized book, the pacing felt good. The main mystery perhaps wrapped up a bit too quickly once things started to slot into place but overall, a satisfying conclusion.

A little bit too much politics for my taste, but a wonderful book. I don't think that I will read the rest of the series just because I'm not a huge mystery book type of gal. Plus the books are huge. And also, the author didn't get to live to finish the series, which is sad.
