Mazey writes smart, quick-witted dialogue that often makes me laugh.Both Harper and Dan are fighting their way through debilitating and relatable challenges. The portrayal of Harper's trauma-fueled anxiety was perfection (no pun intended). Anyone who has ever wrestled with anxiety is sure to feel a connection with Harper. Readers struggling with familial expectations and wanting to pursue their own passions will find Dan to be a comfort.I loved every minute of reading ABWL and hated for it to end. Thank God Mazey gave us an epilogue and is writing books for the other members of Harper's girl tribe.
