IN the foregoing or former treatise of the Messenger, formed upon time and education, &c., with a small light to View the advantage which arises from learning and trades, in that we discovered such a large and beautiful field, apparently decorated With a great variety of trees, plants and flowers, $c. But at the ap proach of the evening shades, we were obliged to withdraw, with a promise to return to the field again, and venture therein somewhat far ther - and to bring therefrom some of its pro ductions, fruits and flowers, that others may taste, smell, and View them. So that they may be induced to travel the same field, and bring therefrom fruits, that may be good for the sons and daughters of the rising generation of the children of men.
