Description
One morning on his way to school Sam rescues a young dragon trapped in the chains of a swing. Scales - as the dragon is called - decides to join Class 4 and he brings lots of fun to Sam and his friends.
Scales is Sam's special friend and he helps him with his spelling and in fighting off the school bully.
"Don't worry, I'll look after you," says the dragon. "I've always wanted a boy of my own!"
An amusing and lively fantasy for young readers.
