Another Ana and Din mystery and I loved it!
The author never fail to impress me with another good mystery story yet thought provoking. I enjoy reading the bond between the main characters and learning more about the world were in.
I especially love the authors note.

The Sherlock Holmes-style mystery/fantasy hybrid that RJB has created is the perfect blend of my favorite genres and feels tailored just for me. The mystery is brilliantly written and well-crafted and the world-building fantasy aspect is incredibly detailed and superbly unique. It hits all the right spots and is a huge win for both genres. I loved the first book but was able to enjoy this one even more! Now that the world was established, we really got to delve in more deeply than the first and Ana and Din have hit their stride as partners, making their dynamic even better, if that is even possible! Ana kills me! She’s quirky and hilarious (and *CW: extremely foul-mouthed) and Din is her perfect balance.Highly recommend for nuanced, multi-layered mystery lovers who love having their minds blown when it all is revealed and High Fantasy lovers who are craving something different than the norm.
