A Friend for Ella

Ella Elephant is jealous of Freda the frog: Freda can jump higher and further than Ella - it's just not fair! When Freda goes missing, Ella is secretly glad - now she'll be the best jumper again. But then Ella discovers that tiny Freda often gets lost in the jungle, because she is so small. Realising that being big has its own advantages, Ella overcomes her jealousy, and finally learns to respect and appreciate her new friend. Part of a series of four elephant-shaped board books which deal with toddler experiences. Created by Karen Wallace, and beautifully brought to life by Rebecca Harry's illustrations, Ella is a very special character, whom young children will love.
