A Knight in Shining Levi's

It has been one year since eighteen-year-old Billy's beloved friend, Brendan, was shot in the head by IRA terrorists. Now, as Northern Ireland continues to consume itself with religious terror, Billy must try to untangle the confusion within his heart and in his homeland.

But with the reappearance of a friend from his past, suddenly Billy is thrown into the center of a quest for justice. As new details emerge about the death of Brendan, Billy's desire for answers sees him traveling as far from home as the sweeping landscapes of Morocco. It's in these breathtaking lands that Billy begins to understand just what it means to feel accepted.

A stunning portrait of what life was like in Northern Ireland in the late 1980s, A Knight in Shining Levi's looks at universal themes of societal conflict through the eyes of a powerfully insightful young man. As Billy crosses through new cultures and foreign landscapes, he finds himself not only discovering secrets about a murder...but also about himself.

A follow-up to Ben Allen's gripping and dazzling book, Through the Eyes of an Irish Lad, this book continues the riveting story of one man's quest for acceptance and love.
