This is a One week Psalter, based on the arrangement of Psalms used by the Benedictines since the time of Saint Benedict. The psalter has been simplified to include all of the 150 psalms in a week over the course of three Hours a day, an early morning hour roughly corresponding to Matins, a daytime hour corresponding to Lauds, or another daytime hour, and an evening hour corresponding to Vespers. This psalter includes antiphons for each psalm, and is intended to be used with the readings, verses and responses of either the traditional Breviary or the Liturgy of the Hours. The version of the Psalms used is the Psalms of the Douay Old Testament.
