North East Frontier Agency (NEFA) has always been a source of curiosity and a desire to know more. Bordering on China this area came into inglorious prominence during Chinese attack in 1962. Always snow-clad it has geographical and climatic difficulties apart from cultural diversity with the rest of India. The vast land is surrounded by snow peaks of Easter Himalayas, green tropical to alpine forests and major rivers as Subansiri, Dihang, Dibong and Lohit that forms the mighty Brahmaputra. The land is the land many a tribes including the Abors and Mishmis. This book satisfies all these expectation. A must read for all.
