A Prayer For Innocence

The Mouse has nearly become a national folk hero, elaborately stealing large sums of cash from unscrupulous institutions and giving the money to charity. But his daring exploits come with a price—he is wanted dead or alive. It is up to distinguished Special Agent-In-Charge Tom Palio to capture the notorious thief as well as those attempting to kill him. Meanwhile the Mouse, Ryan Anzo, discovers a new life in the small town of Silver Butte. His eccentric and scarred past, combined with a growing love for graceful Madison Levine, begins to diminish his contempt for the present. Concurrently, Silver Butte’s esteemed sheriff Billy Koal discovers elements about Ryan that may link him to the Mouse. When the FBI reveals its ploy to capture the Mouse, what unfolds are critical events in an adventure for one man attempting to help humanity while struggling with desires of the heart and soul.
