Description
Key Words of the English language
Some words in our language are used much more frequently than others. Three hundred of them ost frequently used words make up about three-quarters of the total number of those used in juvenile reading. These very common words have been called Key Words, and reading skill is accelerated if they are learned early.
In the First Key Words Picture Dictionary ninety-two Key Words are introduced, each one illustrated individually and with large, school script lettering which the younger or slower learner can trace if desired. This Second Key Words Picture Dictionary presents all the three hundred Key Words in a series of illustrated sentences, each sentence being made up entirely of Key Words. The commonest of these words appear several times in a meaningful context.
The sentences can be used for teaching or testing reading, writing and spelling.
