A Tale About a Tiger and Other Mysterious Events

S. J. Rozan is the multi-award winning master of hardboiled, hardhitting private eye mysteries, most coming from the streets of New York. Included in A Tale of a Tiger are some of her best stories, many centering around the cases of Lydia Chin. Whether going undercover to find a videotape which would prove the guilt of an acquitted murderer, uncovering the truth about a subway rape, or helping a smuggler of Asian artifacts, Chin is not afraid to dig deep into New York s underbelly in pursuit of justice. Also included is the acclaimed short story "Hoops," in which an apparent murder-suicide of a local high school basketball star and his girlfriend leaves more to be uncovered.
