Description
Baby elephants, which are called calves, do not need their trunks for the first few months of their lives. They drink milk from their mothers with their mouths. At first, they are clumsy, with their trunks swinging in front of them, so they need to learn how to use them. What are some of the ways an elephant uses its trunk?
