A.A.- How Alcoholics Anonymous Steals Your Soul

For decades, Alcoholics Anonymous has promoted themselves as a non-religious treatment for the disease of alcoholism. In reality, AA is a deeply religious program of faith-healing that believes alcoholism is directly caused by the Seven Deadly Sins. The author successfully sued to have mandatory attendance at AA ruled unconstitutional as a violation of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution; this book is a dissection of the indoctrination method that he was forced to witness, a step-by-step analysis of how AA converts unsuspecting members to the AA religion.
AA has been able to position itself as this state-mandated religion by promoting itself with a cynical, dishonest semantic deception; they classify themselves as “spiritual, not religious”. The point of this book is to deconstruct the Alcoholics Anonymous program to show how AA camouflages their religion as medicine, and the semantic trickery it employs to that end.
