Almost Unbearable Tales

My best old mate, Ted Bear Esq. is back (the Esq. bit was his idea – he thinks he's quite grand with an official title). Having shared more than 65 years, Ted is already high in my estimation list and the loveable one, too. He's my Ted – what more can I say?
It was all meant to start and end with a simple photographic record - my last book, Ted Bear Esq. – his photo album, but no, he went on to challenge my wordsmith ability to create cameos about the photos of him and his best mates, posturing all over the house!
Resistance was useless, he moped and looked pleadingly and heart-breakingly until I could stand no more, and weakened (as he always knew I would).
