Description
Volume Three of his Bestselling Autobiography. As work on Visconti's "Death in Venice" draws to a close, Dirk Bogarde is preparing his house in Provence as a retreat. Before he is rewarded with the peace and tranquillity he craves, however, he is forced to endure damage to his possessions, dying olive trees and the rampaging mistral.
