Description

On a remote island, ten strangers gather, each harboring their own secrets and past misdeeds. They think they’ve come for a getaway, but their hopes for leisure quickly turn to dread as they find themselves trapped. One by one, members of the group start to vanish under mysterious circumstances, echoing a nursery rhyme that hints at their grim fate.

As paranoia sets in, alliances form and betrayals unfold, blurring the lines between friend and foe. Everyone becomes a suspect in this chilling game of survival, where trust is a luxury they can't afford. With each disappearance, tension spirals, and the suspense becomes palpable as they race against time to unveil the truth before it’s too late.

In this masterful tale of deception and moral reckoning, Agatha Christie weaves a gripping narrative that keeps readers on the edge of their seats, leaving them guessing until the very last page.

classic thriller.

I can truly see why Agatha Christie has earned the title of the world's bestselling author. This book was a great story, it was pure mystery from the first page to the last. I loved every second of this novel!

Let me just say that this was a great mystery, I had no idea what the hell was happening or who was responsible. When the cops finally appeared, I thought the book was going to end right there and I'd be left in the dark, utterly confused as to what had happened. Thankfully, it was explained quite nicely and everything started to make sense.I'd say this was worth the three week hold I had to place on this just to listen haha

No Poirot No Miss Marple No Tommy and Tuppence! Outside her 'meat and two veg' detectives AC struggles badly . None.. very much labours under the burden of being too smart for its own good. Did I like it? No but I was expecting something wonderful and disappointment reigns. Someone out there please tell me this review is wrong.
