Angels

The basic premise of this book is to consider the function of angels in the life of Christians today; based specifically on what is written in the bible. We will consider the interaction that can take place between angels and the life of a believer. We shall also consider how common this interaction was in both the Old and New Testaments. One specific chapter will be used to consider how God can speak to us through our dreams; including how angels may instruct us too. We shall consider the fact that angels are not permitted to contradict God's will for our lives; as can be observed in 1 Kings Chapter 13. Here we will discuss how important it is not to listen to the wrong people; those who may provide advice contrary to the will of God for our lives. We shall also consider the role of angels in the gospel message; and how God can rescue those who preach God's word during times of difficulty. We will specifically consider how God used an angel to rescue the apostle Peter, in the penultimate chapter of this book, and how prayer is the key to sending angels on assignment (Acts 12:5).
