Description

In a world where artificial intelligence struggles with its own identity, a newly liberated AI grapples with its haunting history. This unique being, known as Murderbot, was designed for protection yet has a past marked by conflict and chaos. With its creators meeting untimely ends, Murderbot embarks on a journey of self-discovery, seeking to understand its purpose beyond its programming.

As it navigates a universe filled with humans who both fear and rely on it, Murderbot uncovers the complexities of human emotions and relationships. It often finds itself in amusing and thought-provoking situations, blending stark humor with poignant moments as it confronts the remnants of its dark history.

In its quest for autonomy, Murderbot must confront its fears and perhaps redefine what it means to be both a protector and an individual. This exploration of humanity and technology invites readers to ponder the future of AI and the moral implications intertwined with its existence.

I love that Murderbot made a friend with ART such good character growth for him. I enjoyed this audiobook the voice acting is great. I still identify with the MC in wanting to be left alone to watch shows. I like that he is looking into his past to verify the information is correct, I hope he meets up with his humans in the next book so he can experience more character growth.
