Attack on Titan, Vol. 18

The calm before the storm.

This volume had such a weird feeling because everyone knows they're about to return to Shiganshina and potentially uncover the biggest secret in the entire story.

The training and preparation were actually some of my favorite parts because you can feel how much these characters have changed since the beginning.

Eren especially has come SO far.

But Erwin is the one who has me worried.

This man is literally planning an operation where basically everyone could die and he's just standing there like 🙂.

And then there's the basement.

THE DAMN BASEMENT.

We've been hearing about this basement since the beginning, so obviously my expectations are ridiculously high.

Please don't disappoint me, Isayama.

The Survey Corps has overthrown the Royal Government and swept away the tyranny of the king.
