★★★★½

Well...

I finished Attack on Titan. 😭

And I have QUESTIONS.

I won't lie, the ending wasn't perfect for me. There were things I really liked, things I wish had been explained better, and some character decisions that had me sitting there like "be serious right now."

But emotionally?

It hurt.

Eren, Mikasa and Armin's entire relationship coming full circle was probably the part that affected me the most. These three started this story as children dreaming about freedom and ended up having to make choices that none of them could've imagined.

And Mikasa's ending especially...

Yeah. I'm not okay.

I also liked that the ending didn't magically erase everything that happened. The consequences of the characters' choices still matter.

Was it perfect? No.

Did I spend the last volume staring at the page in silence? Absolutely.

After 34 volumes, I'm giving it 4.5 stars because even when I hated a decision, this series had me emotionally invested until the very end.
