Description

In a world where psychological manipulation and deceit haunt every corner, Cassie Hobbes finds herself entangled in a web of new victims and unsettling betrayals. As a member of the FBI’s elite Naturals program, her extraordinary abilities put her in a position to solve crimes that others can’t even begin to comprehend. Yet, with every case uncovered, the stakes grow higher, forcing Cassie to confront not just the sinister acts around her but also the darkness that lies within.

With fresh evidence emerging and new secrets coming to light, Cassie and her fellow Naturals must work together to navigate a dangerous labyrinth of lies. Each twist reveals hidden agendas, and as tensions rise, trust among the group begins to erode. Cassie is compelled to rely on her instincts and the skills she’s developed, all while racing against time to prevent further tragedy.

As the investigation deepens, it becomes clear that some threats are closer than they appear. Cassie must grapple with her past and the haunting memories that resurface with every revelation. The echoes of betrayal loom, forcing her to question who she can truly rely on in a world where everyone has something to hide.

With an atmosphere thick with suspense and a narrative that keeps the readers guessing, Cassie’s journey unfolds against a backdrop of psychological intrigue. The ties that bind her to her team will be tested like never before, and in the end, the line between ally and enemy may blur beyond recognition.

🗡️4.1 stars9️⃣The start of the book was really boring, and everything was kind of slow. I didn't really care about the whole Celine sub-plot. Then it gets SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING from then on. It is a good finale to a book series.🫰The ending. Cried, sobbed, shook me.👍The plot twists. So unexpected.👍Celine identifying the villain based on her ability was absolutely genius.👌Didn't really care about Michael and Lia, or Sloane's relationship either. In fact, didn't even care all that much about Dean and Cassie -- sorry. They were cute and all, but they didn't have me giggling and smiling and blushing.👎I know I said I loved the ending, but it felt a little unreasonable. Two minutes, wasn't it? I'm sure that's enough time, but alright.
