Everything is not as it seems. Gracie and Daniel where always told to stay away from the Bridman, but why?Michael Morpurgo takes you on an adventure as two children make friend with a strange man they where always told to stay away from. Secrets are revealed and the islanders aren't sure what to believe.I just love Michael Morpurgo's style of writing. He gives life to history in a heart warming and gut wrenching way.
