OMG what a rollercoaster 5 fkn stars, i loved it so much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶🌶🌶🌶

Plot : ⭐⭐⭐⭐Story :⭐⭐⭐Spice :🌶️🌶️🌶️Rating :⭐⭐⭐Tropes : dark romance, contemporary, enemies to lovers, rival gangs, forced proximity, touch her and die, psychopath MMC, morally black MMC, mafia gangs. Pacing : medium. Characters : let’s start off with caden king, he made me angry, for sure. Other men in this series didn’t anger me as much as he did, and i have read my share of dark romances, but when I read this book, i didn’t like it that much, and i almost didn’t like billie as well, billie was supposed to be the girl that never bends for anyone, but then is ready to do anything for caden, possibly because he manipulates her into being his? Man is a master manipulator. What I loved : i loved lolq’s writing, and have always loved everything she writes, but caden’s behaviour bothered me just a bit, because at the time, I had read few dark romances, but that could be because sometimes my inner feminist wakes up. That’s all. What I struggled with : caden king’s behaviour, didn’t like him that much. Loveable characters or not : likeable. Strong character development : caden is still caden, so …no, and billie is staying with him, and falls for him. Plot driven / character driven : plot driven. Any other details : beautiful fiend is the first book in the north shore series, it is highly recommended to read lola king’s universe in order, starting with the stoneview stories, the first book — going in, and then rose’s duet, and then the north shore series, and the last series — the silver falls university.
