Description

View AllI sort of hate finished this. It was like being stuck talking to the arrogant mansplainer at a party except it was hours of reading about him instead. I guess the ending was a bit of a payoff, but not enough for spending so much time with basically my least favorite type of person.
After reading My Husband’s Wife by Alice Feeney and really loving it, I was eager to read another one of her books. Sadly, this one was a letdown compared to the previous novel.
Completed in a day. Fast paced, and had me second guessing throughout. I can't say that the characters were likeable as you focus more on the turn of events, and get a surprise each time. Not my usual genre but was short at just over 300 pages and the pace and plot kept it moving so that it was hard to put down.
