I started off this book feeling kind of meh about it. I am listening to the Graphic Audio version and there are some perks, such as the VA for Xaden from Fourth Wing being Darius.As for the story, it seems interesting. There doesn't appear to be a solid plot yet but after reading Deliciously Dark Fairytales and Demigods of San Francisco, I know it takes a while before the real plot cooks up. It takes time for these books to get their footing and finally reveal the true big bad.I'm willing to keep going and see where this takes me. But I will continue to buy each book one at a time just in case.
