Brimstone

A melhor coisa que eu fiz antes de começar esse livro foi ter relido o primeiro, pois eu não me lembrava totalmente de tudo.

Na primeira vez que li Quicksilver eu gostei, mas esperava mais. Acho que na verdade acabei indo com muitas expectativas porque estava bem hypado na gringa e ir com muitas expectativas pode afetar a experiência.
Contudo, na segunda vez que eu li foi incrível, eu li mais de boa e curti muito mais do que na primeira vez.

Então, comecei Brimstone animada e não me decepcionei.
O enredo foi interessante e não senti que foi cansativo. É um livro relativamente grande, mas que na minha opinião fluiu naturalmente.
Ele não foi chato e lento, mas ao mesmo tempo não foi agilizado. Aconteceu coisas legais e interessantes durante todo o livro até chegar no ápice central lá pelo final.

Uma coisa que eu gostei desde a primeira vez que eu li Quicksilver foi da Protagonista. Eu gosto muito da Saeris, ela tem uma personalidade carismática, é forte e empática.

O Kingfisher também não fica atrás, ele é muito bom de acompanhar, tem uma vibe ranzinza e ciumenta que acaba sendo divertido de ler.
Adorei que nesse segundo livro trouxe o ponto de vista dos dois protagonistas.

Além dos protagonistas, os personagens secundários também são muitooo bons. Eles são super cativantes e faz a pessoa ter um apego por eles também.
Gostei muito da dinâmica dos personagens como um grupo, é linda a amizade de todos.
Mas, vou citar especificamente a amizade da Saeris e do Lorreth que desde o primeiro livro venho com uma crescente linda, são muito bons juntos e é fofo ele chamando ela de irmã.

Também gostei de ver um laço aparecendo no Fisher e no Carrion. Era muito engraçado os momentos do Carrion provocando o Fisher até ele ficar irritado ou com ciúmes da Saeris, mas foi bom ver uma evolução acontecendo entre eles também. Uma amizade que vai ser cheia de picuinha mas que se importam um com o outro.

Sobre o romance.
Foi muito bom ler os momentos do Fisher e da Saeris juntos. Eles tem muita química mas também tem muita entrega emocional. Da para ver que realmente se amam e eu adoro que o Fisher é completamente rendido por ela.

Por fim, muitas coisas foram acontecendo e algumas surpresas ocorreram o que acabou me deixando bem conectada na leitura, também vale citar que eu gosto da escrita dessa autora.

Lá pelo final foi revelado uma coisa importante que eu vou ter que me acostumar com a mudança, então provavelmente vou estranhar por um tempo. Mas, eu tô bem curiosa para dar sequência a série porque termina de uma forma intrigante.
