Description
Orville Schell's BROWN must surely be one of the most unusual books about a politician written in recent memory - but then, Edmund G. (Jerry) Brown is no ordinary politician. Schell has given us a marvelously entertaining portrait of an enigmatic personality who wraps himself in deliberate ambiguity, of an avowedly unpolitical figure who may one day be President, or who, in one of his odd swings of mood, may just abandon it all.
