Reviews

Oh my giddy aunt... Callie Hart does it again! Now in the first book I deducted a bit of my rating for it being short and a humongous cliffhanger, but now I know that Callie is releasing the novella's quite quickly I am going to refrain in doing that. And in book 2 I gave her full marks as she left it at a place where you didn't have too much of a hangover till this book.I was so glad that I was one of the fans who were lucky enough to receive a gifted copy to review before the release date which is 22nd May (bookmark this date to go get this book you won't be disappointed) The book starts where Fracture left off, the ending for fracture was less traumatic for me than the first book, and the series is just getting better.Callie's character development is great, I was addicted to Zeth from the beginning of the first book, and he was just a bad boy who exuded sex and kinkiness that would make any woman shudder... And as he began to open up at the end of book 2, in Burn you really get to see him realising how much Sloane means to him. Talking about Sloane... She's learning quick to stand on her own feet, how to adapt and fit into this crazy world that she has dived into to find her sister Alexia, and she is also realising that she can be just as demanding in the bedroom as Zeth can... I loved the scene where she takes control, although Zeth doesn't let her keep it for long.Callie once again has written some XXX scenes, in fact I re-read some ;P The storyline never slacks, I read this book in about 3 hours, yes this is a novella, but I just couldn't stop reading, so not much got done until I had finished reading!Thankfully after some beta readers and the earlier reviewers gave Callie enough feedback that she increased this book to include chapter 1 of the 4th book, I am so glad she did. So this is one reader who says thanks to all those who read before me! I can cope with waiting till July for book 4... Oh and also wait eagerly for Callie's new book Rebel, which is a stand alone story. I can't divulge too much other than that, otherwise I will spoil this book for you.To finish this review, I can say that this Novella series keeps going from strength to strength and any adult reader who doesn't mind extremely hot sex and a fair bit of violence will enjoy these books.Ok so how many days so I have to wait Callie??
