Description

Ben Cobalt lives in a world where love ignites like a wildfire, but his heart beats to a different rhythm. As Aqua's vibrant and enigmatic character, he finds shimmers of connection in unexpected places. Navigating the complexities of relationships in a society built on emotional hierarchies has its challenges, especially for someone who’s comfortable being himself.

With wit and charm, Ben dives into a whirlwind of friendships, fleeting romances, and the inevitable trials that come with them. Each encounter unravels more of his personality, showcasing the striking shades of who he is beyond mere labels.

As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that love, when it blazes blue, illuminates not just intense passion but the beauty of acceptance and self-discovery. The journey is as much about finding love as it is about understanding what it truly means to burn bright.

I've had the Addicted series on my TBR for so long. I think reading this has given me the push I needed to finally dive into these stories. I adore the Cobalts. I love their whole dynamic. They all have very big personalities, but they all fit together. They all love each other so fiercely even when at times it doesn't seem that way. Ben and Harriet end up becoming each other's lights. Two people who just seem to randomly run into each, soon become each other's closest confidants. I loved their friendship. Their relationship. The trust and loyalty they had for each other from the get go was crazy. But sometimes you just find your people.I cried a considerable amount reading this LMAO I just found the way the mental health and gravy family topics were handled very moving.  Charlie would hate me and my emotions. I'd be shocked if his isn't the last story we get. He's the mysterious, grumpy, genius Cobalt. My guess for next would be either Tom or Beckett. Thanks to Valentine PR for sending me an ARC!
