Anita is Called in to save the humans and some monsters once again.Vampires are being set alight and it's anita's job to stop it. But can she stop it in time?not only does she have to deal with trying to solve the case of the arsonist, but the Vampire Council comes to town.we get introduced to a few new characters Damian and Asher.Damian is someone who Anita Raises from his coffin during the day. this is proof that her necromany powers are growing. Anita starts to accept that she too is one of the monsters and her necromancy may be stronger than first thought.Asher has history with jean claude, and through asher we learn a bit more about the mysterious master of the city.i love this book. it is one of my favourites in this series.
