4.75, I spent the past 6 months reading this book after stumbling cross it in a lirary, thats right 6 MONTHS. It was not for the lack of understanding but the true masterfullness of this almost perfect book. I hated certain parts of this book, by hated I mean pure undignified loathing for certain parts, but every time I was slipping Oates draws me back in by her prose.
