Kennedy Ryan is at her absolute best in this compelling, scorching novel about hope and healing, and what it truly means to love for a lifetime 💗

Hendrix Barry lives a fabulous life. She has phenomenal friends, a loving family, and a thriving business that places her in the entertainment industry's rarefied air. Your vision board? She's probably living it.

She's a woman with goals, dreams, ambitions-always striving upward. And in the midst of everything, she's facing her toughest challenge caring for an aging parent.

Who has time for romance? From her experience, there's a low ROI on relationships. She hasn't met the man who can keep up with her anyway.

Until . . . him.

Tech mogul Maverick Bell is a dilemma wrapped in an exquisitely tailored suit and knee-melting charm. From their first charged glance at the summer's hottest party, Hendrix feels like she's met her match. Only he can't be. Mav may be the first to make her feel this seen and desired and appreciated, but he's the last one she can have. Forbidden fruit is the juiciest, and this man is off limits if she plans to stay the course she's set for herself.

But when Maverick gives chase-pursuing her, spoiling her, understanding her-is it time to let herself have something more?

⭐️ 3.25-3.5Not my favourite book in the series. There’s something about Hendrix and Maverick that didn’t quite work for me, despite the fact that they clearly have some sort of chemistry. It might be the way they got together and how they navigated their desire and attraction to each other, it felt a bit messy at times, especially during that closet scene.Because I wasn’t fully in love with this book, I often found myself feeling no real desire to pick it back up. Also, Kennedy Ryan has this way of giving you more than just a straightforward, run-of-the-mill romance. She explores realistic, heavier, raw themes, which is something I usually appreciate. However, in this book, I felt like the heavier topics sometimes overshadowed the romance. At times, I just wanted to get back to the heart of the relationship (heartless, I know!). I don’t necessarily need my romance books to be more than just romance, even though I do appreciate when an author can successfully offer both.To be clear, Kennedy Ryan handles topics like grief, the role of duty, and the fleeting nature of memory (with the Alzheimer’s representation here) with care and depth. But personally, I found myself craving more focus on the romance. The smut was good. Kennedy Ryan does not write bad smut.Lastly, the covers of this series? *Chef’s kiss*.A part of me kind of wants Kennedy to keep adding more books to the series just for the covers. But then I come back down from la-la land and realise the series can definitely end with 'Can’t Get Enough'.

I am always down to eat up a Kennedy Ryan book. Her writing is beautiful, and the characters she breathes life into feel like friends. After reading the first two books in the Skyland series, I've been not-so-patiently anticipating book three, "Can't Get Enough." In the first two books Hendrix, our FMC, is painted a tough badass boss lady who is always there for her friends. Kennedy already had me pinned in Hendrix's corner before I read the first page in this novel. To say my expectations were high is an understatement. The way Kennedy handled the deeply personal and challenging topics interwoven into the story was wonderful. She doesn't shy away from the discomfort readers will feel as they are thrown in the middle of an Alzheimer's diagnosis, racial and economic injustice, and the exploration of what makes a community. This was my favorite aspect of the book by far.The book begins with an author's note about the research and authentic experience Kennedy has with dementia, which I found admirable. Having lost my own mother to dementia last year I was looking forward to the emotional connection I was sure I'd experience with these characters and the book. But I didn't get that. The connection between Hendrix and Maverick begins strongly with their shared experience of Alzheimer's. Hendrix is a caregiver for her mother with progressing dementia, and Maverick lost his grandfather to it a few years earlier. A scorching mutual attraction and pining unwinds and, based on several circumstances, Hendrix finds it ill-timed. Maverick is persistent in his pursuit of her, even when she clearly says, 'no.' His decision that he *will* have her didn't sit well with me in an age where women are screaming "listen to us!" And, unfortunately, the more I read the harder I found it to root for Hendrix and Maverick. I found it disheartening that despite being a very strong woman, Hendrix caves and breaks promise after promise to herself when it comes to Maverick. I understand all characters have flaws, but this one made Hendrix almost unloveable after the buildup of the first two books.Hen and Mav's "we shouldn't, but we're gonna" felt like too big of a focus, pulling so much attention away from the emotional tie of the book--Hendrix's role as a caregiver. "Can't Get Enough" felt spicier than the first two books in the series, which is fine, but I wasn't expecting it and was caught off guard. I wanted to love this so much--it was one of my highest anticipated releases for 2025--but it fell flat of what I expect when reading a Kennedy Ryan book.Thank you to to Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and Netgalley for the advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
