His career started with saving Earth.
Jonny Moreau didn't think of himself as a hero, and certainly had no intention of founding a dynasty that would become legendary among the worlds colonized by Earth. But when the alien Troft invaded human space, Jonny volunteered to become one of the first Cobras - an invincible soldier with surgically implanted weapons. When the Cobras succeeded too well in defeating the Troft, they had to leave a fearful Earth for the stars, and Jonny was forced to become a politician, then a statesman, dealing with Earth and the Troft. Then the time came, decades later, when he and his Cobra children would join with the Troft against a new menace to both races...
