This work presents the first comprehensive monograph on the gallant poet Christian Hunold alias Menantes (1680-1721). On the basis of the conjuncture of the gallant interaction and communication model between 1680 and 1730, central elements of this model for German literary history are examined based on the example of Hunolds text production.
