Description

In a chilling tale of suspense and intrigue, a grisly discovery shocks the small community nestled in the French countryside. A mutilated body, grotesquely positioned in a remote crevice, sets off a chain of events that unravels secrets long buried. As investigators dig deeper, they confront not only the brutal nature of the crime but also the shadows of humanity that lurk beneath the surface of their seemingly peaceful world.

The highly-regarded but haunted detective assigned to the case finds himself caught in a web of deception and dark motivations. With each twist and turn, the investigation reveals a complex tapestry of crime, obsession, and betrayal. As the detective battles both external and internal demons, the line between justice and vengeance blurs, leading to a gripping culmination that questions the very nature of good and evil.

This thriller is one of the best ones I have ever read. The tension was just perfect. How the author tells the story is just amazing, and I could predict some of the things, but the plottwist still caught me off guard.I hihly recommend this thriller to everybody who love thrillers and who loves such a great tension.
