A thousand years in the future, the fate of humanity is at stake, the earth slowly recovering after a global ozone layer crisis. 16-year-old Katie travels through time into a desolate future with her baby Tyler and boyfriend Lorne. Tyler is revered in Aaurenan for his psychic abilities, but it's Iannik, a young Seer and the last of his line who is charged with responsibility for saving his beloved land.

Learning to be self-sufficient in a world with no technology is frustrating but necessary. If Katie and Lorne can convince people back at home that they're not crazy, they just might be able to save humanity in the distant future, and the people they've come to love and cherish.
