Ehh. This just wasn’t it for me. Part of it was because they were teenagers and I was not vibing with the spice between them. The conversations between our FMC and MMC were juvenile and there was soooo much drama. Neither of their characters was very likable. He lacked any personality beyond his caveman-like possessiveness, while she desperately tried to portray herself as a fierce, “won’t tolerate your nonsense” heroine, but was essentially just a doormat.So many of the other conversations throughout this book didn’t make sense and the plot felt disjointed in parts. Both of the controlling parent figures just RANDOMLY had a change of heart so our MCs could get their HEA? This made the ending feel rushed, as if it was just a means to wrap up the story quickly.
