Description

Mia Corvere's journey plunges deeper into treachery and revenge as her past relentlessly pursues her. Freed from the shackles of servitude, she now embraces her destiny as an assassin, deftly navigating a world where loyalty is fleeting and trust can be deadly. The shadows that once concealed her are now filled with both allies and enemies, each more cunning than the last.

In this unforgiving realm, Mia must confront not only external threats but her own turbulent emotions and haunted memories. The greatest games may be over, but the game of survival stretches before her like an endless battlefield. Driven by a thirst for vengeance, she grapples with the moral dilemmas that come with her newfound freedom.

As alliances shift and old bonds are tested, Mia learns that power comes at a cost. Her journey is fraught with peril, forcing her to choose between the darkness within and the light she wishes to reclaim. With each step, she inches closer to uncovering a truth that could change everything, plunging her into the heart of a tumultuous struggle for power and redemption.

3 starsI am the war you cannot win.In all honesty Darkdawn wasn't what I expected, I expected a lot lot more from the final book. I personally think the book dragged on quite a bit, especially the middle. I did like how the ending wrapped everything up, but I kind of saw it coming. Also Tric deserved so much better. I kind of feel a bit disappointed. I just had high hopes for this one because I really liked the first and second book.
