Darkness Vol. 1: Ioen

‘Only one will come each century, sheathed in an armour of ice...’ Thus speaks the prophecy. The first to do so, rushed headlong into conflict with the Creatures and never reappeared... Yet the Creatures disappeared for a generation and it was believed he had defeated them. But then they reappeared, sowing terror once more.

Who will stand up to them again? Who will restore peace to the lands ravaged by volcanic activity since the Cataclysm, when fire rained from the skies. Will another champion come forth? Could this be Ioen, the child who once survived the flames, the child adapt beyond his years?

And what of the metal object, strange and enormous, which the infernal Creatures guard? While entire legions are erased by the fiery breath of these Creatures, a mysterious rider enters the walls of a fortified citadel...
