When Kalo was offered freedom from his life of servitude, he swore he'd never again be not by magic, by masters, or by fate. But everything changes when he's marked by a werewolf and feels the pull of a mate bond he never asked for.

Leo, the by-the-book Gamma of the Crimsontooth pack, wasn't expecting to find his mate when he went to help an ally, and he certainly wasn't expecting to mark that mate without his permission when it became a matter of life or death.
