The second book in the series, Death Metal is a cute, fun, entertaining paranormal cozy mystery that can be easily read as a standalone. Nora is slowly learning about her new abilities and has finally gotten a little alone time with Tanner, her boss and love interest, when a new ghost literally pops up between them. It turns out this werewolf shifter just died and the deputy is calling it a suicide. Well the ghost is here to tell her otherwise and she wants Nora to prove that someone killed her. I enjoyed this story as it was well written with fun characters and the premise of the series itself is interesting. The mystery was intriguing as the author slowly leads the reader to the killer and the climax of the story. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys a nice clean story filled with humor and containing intriguing characters and mysteries. I for one am looking forward to what the next story will bring. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
