In Queen si assistono a diversi cambiamenti nelle menti dei suoi protagonisti, e il fatto che Lachlan pur di farla cadere ai suoi piedi sia disposto a corteggiarla la dice lunga sul sentimento che lo lega a lei. Anche qui la scrittrice ha saputo giocare bene le sue carte con un finale di quelli angoscianti e ricchi di suspance che costringerà il lettore a pretendere il volume conclusivo per sapere come finalmente si concluderà questa trilogia che ha fatto innamorare molte lettrici. Amo il personaggio di Keira, è una donna forte e capace di scendere a patti con l'uomo più potente di New Orleans pur di salvare l'azienda di famiglia e dimostrare al padre che è capace di mandare avanti questa attività, senza problemi.
