I especially loved Shep and Thea’s story. Thea is such a complex, beautifully written character, and watching her come into her own alongside the family and friendships she finds in Sparrow Falls was truly moving. Her fears feel real, and her pain reflects experiences so many people carry.The care Catherine Cowles puts into her characters is evident on every page.
