Delicious Monsters

2.75 stars I was really hoping I would love this...but it just felt slow and flat until about the 50% mark. I also really disliked almost all characters and found the switching POVs between Daisy and Brittney tiring (especially since the majority of chapters were Daisy, and then Brittney just seemed to come out of nowhere). I found the mystery/horror interesting and I actually liked the writing (when it was descriptive and not repetitive) and I felt for the trauma and pain the characters went through (and there was a lot - hurt people hurt people) but ultimately I ended the book feeling a bit confused and lacklustre.
