I don’t know how I feel about use and descriptions of psych disorders in this book because, yikes
La relación de poder en la relación está totalmente rota, verdaderamente glyndon jamás tuvo la opción de elegir en esta relación, no me gusta Killian.
That was intense. But a good kind of intense. The plot twist really got me in the end. I will continue reading the series.
This was a good read. I do think it was a little too dark for my liking, but that's just a personal preference. The story line was good, and the grief aspect of things was relatable. I just didn't care for the MMC.
Agian This is FICTIONAL this would never slide in real life, its nottt real and if it was this man should be locked and never see the light of day.
DNF @55% The non-con was not my issue. It was the fact that he was so obsessed with her virginity and the fact that both characters were insufferable and had zero chemistry. It felt very insta lust.
2.5 || ⭐️when the girls were in their flat and talked about their fantasy i knew this's will be a bad journey with this book, let me remind you that's MY OPINION okay? there was a plot somewhere in here and Glyn crisis was really touching... however we can't romanticize this kind of relationships especially with people whose have a personality disorders, how things goes in this story have a lot of plot holes and not enough sense of logic and let me be clear on something, when a person forced to do something against their well it's not freedom or going out of their shell and lose control it's called compulsory and it is not good at all and this's not a fucking feminism it's everything but that, didn't enjoy a lot of things here bro I enjoyed their parents chapters more than the main characters chapters, I HATE when one of the characters have chapters more than the other one it's just not fair at all, anyway there were some moments in this book i were really related to and some was really giggling and kicking and A LOT of them was wtf is going on.
mi primer dark romance y el ultimo!! respeto a las personas que leen este tipo de lectura pero que aburrimientoooo
3.75 rating, with a 3.5 spice rating.I told myself I wasn’t going to review this book because of all the bad reviews. But…here it is. This book seriously meddles with the line I draw of things I can tolerate in dark romances. Sure, I understand it’s a dark romance and that there’s going to be some questionable things in there. However…it just feels like, to me, there’s so many threats of unconsentual sex on Killian’s part. He claims he knows she was enjoying it, but I’m not sure how he would know since the FMC wasn’t even sure of what she was feeling herself. He pushed her boundaries constantly when it came to sex, and I feel like it did open her up from being so closed off…but some scenes were questionable in terms of lines being blurred of what was and what wasn’t being done with or without consent, if that makes sense? The FMC sad no, but it isn’t clarified if she continues to say no, since she begins to enjoy it. There are moments in between the sex scenes that are genuinely enjoyable…like when they would go out on their not-a-date-date. The first half was especially good…but the explosive sex scene I was hoping for when the FMC finally realises she wants him…didn’t really do it for me. It sort of made this book go from a 4 start to a 3.75 star simply because it didn’t have that explosion. And from there, it started to feel like it was a more one sided relationship on his part than it was on hers because we don’t get to really see them together before they’re already having issues. What I do love about this book though is the world set up of all the other characters and how every single one of them has their own story. This is the first book I’ve read in the Kentverse, because I wasn’t aware there was one until starting, but there is defenitely something there that makes me curious about the other books, even if I’ll be reading them in the wrong order of events from the parents down to the legacies.
Wtf? I just read the first chapter and that's the main character?? Ew.I've heard so much about the legacy of gods series and especially Killian Carson and that's what y'all are into?
