somehow, SOMEHOW Nate was the least insufferable part of this book along with the cousins once again. the fmc went from likable to omg have some god damn common sense. like for a smart kid (and ik she is smart cause she is a scholarship kid) she acts fumber than a bag of bricks.
onto the antagonists i honestly love it. we need more villains that just do shit for the fun of it. like as they said "yea it started as a job but I'm just here for the fun of it" lol love it.
also that scene when the guys were detained by the guards and was gonna be taught a listen by the society and was helpless them they saw the knife and then Royce roared and everyone broke free, that shit was so funny to me lol. 😭😭
all i could see is that one nosferatu meme when lily ripped open her shirt and the wolf behind her lol.
the saving grace was the rage room scene and getting a glimpse of the parents. other than that i didn't like it much and i especially felt the ending was anticlimactic, i won't even touch on the capture scene 😒🙄😮💨🤦🏾♀️
