God hates divorce but loves divorced people.Ancient Jerusalem and modern America have more in common than we might think. In ancient Israel, it was common for a husband to impulsively dump his wife and head for greener pastures, just as happens today. How do Christians reconcile “real life” with our faulty expectations?
