Possibly a two? Not a big fan of how the characters are written or how heavily this leans into gender roles when set in a heckin fantasy. But also clearly a product of its time as it was published in 1968 lol. Going to read Dragonquest as well as the Harper Hall trilogy before determining if I want to continue with Pern or not.
